Established in 1997, Gandhi Institute of Engineering and Technology is one of the finest Engineering institutions in India. Known for it's highest placement records over the years, it's emerged as the best University in Eastern India. GIET includes various schools such as School of Engineering and Technology, School of Humanities & Social Studies, School of Agriculture,School of Sciences and School of Management Studies. In 2019 it was conferred the rank of University by the Government of Odisha and also approved by UGC. It is also recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

25 Years of Excellence

Today GIET is in it's 25th year of excellence. And to mark this milestone, various events were organized like The Smart India Hackathon, The blood donation Camp, and much more. GIET is home to more than 4000 students now. And with award, accolades and recognitions it only aims to achieve new heights .
